Hello everyone,
Our plane arrived safe and sound this morning, after an uneventful flight. After driving to our hotel and checking in, we headed to lunch, and then walked around Kiev this afternoon to help us stay awake for the day. We're all looking forward to a good night's sleep. Tomorrow we head to Ladyzhyn for a picnic with the local church and to spend time with those in the facilty with special needs. After that, our plan is to head to Tulchyn and get settled in.

::In Two Short Days We Leave::
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for visiting our 2009 Ukraine Orphan Care Trip blog. We hope to keep this blog updated daily with the happenings of our orphan care trip!
In just two short days, our team of 12 will head to Ukraine! We can't wait! Tonight (Wed.) we drop off the majority of our luggage to be packed into a trailer, go over last minute details, and pray together. On Friday, we meet at 5:45am, then head to BWI to fly (at 10:15am) to JFK, then to Kiev at 4:15pm.
Please be praying for our team as we prepare to leave. Many of us leave spouses, parents, family, and friends behind for 10 days. Pray that God would move in power, strengthening those we leave. Also, be praying that God would cover and protect us from spiritual warfare as we prepare to leave and during the trip. Finally, be praying for the many orphans we are privileged to serve and love for 10 days - may God use us mightily to show these precious ones how much their Heavenly Father loves them.
